Travellers,
For us here at the Lotus Centre and the bookshop it is time
to prepare for a busy time just before the wonderful time of Christmas, the
festival of love …
The past weeks have been busy … new practitioners starting,
more renovations, beautifications and with new shop furniture arriving,
more stock.
A great gift each day perhaps is the chance to meet, to
greet, to share, to love and to live life with a greater perspective of
what is or can be …. in and around The Lotus Centre / Babylon … which includes Hobart, Hobart’s surroundings and the whole of Tasmania.
Our partner shop in Launceston, Berkana is now run by Keith
and Carolyn and their web-site is taking shape … www.berkana.com.au ... please remember that you can send
your workshop info also to them if you are offering your workshop in the
north of our beautiful island too.

Changes have also led to additional practitioners setting up
at The Lotus Centre … warmest welcome to you all … and equally warm and
heart-felt thank you to the existing practitioners, many of whom have

Norman offers Cranial Sacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Acupuncture
and Birth Process. She began
cranial-sacral therapy and visceral manipulation in 1990. She received her
Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree in 1995 and is a
diplomat of cranial/visceral osteopathy, registered to practice in the United
Kingdom and Australia. Prenatal
Birth Process Certification was received in Dresden, Germany in
2004.Mary maintains membership with the British Osteopathic Association,
the Australian Osteopathic Association, and the Cranial Sacral Therapy
Association.

Chi Kung (Therapeutic Lohan Qigong)
.... is literally the study and maintenance of our vital
energy or Chi or Qi. Regular practice of these gentle and flowing movements
enhances health, vitality of both body and mind and is ideal for stress
management. Other benefits are
quietening of the mind, improvement of body posture, balance and assistance
with pain relieve and more.
The classes are
presently on a Wednesday at 2pm. Cost: $15 per session. Suitable for all
ages, kindergarten children to 80 y.o. & over.
